Important information for businesses considering Erify Media for Google Business Profile management.
Erify Media is an independent third party
Erify Media is an independent digital marketing agency. We are not Google, are not a Google employee, and are not part of Google. Google Business Profile is a service provided by Google.
What we do
When a client authorizes us to do so, Erify Media may help manage and optimize information on the client’s Google Business Profile as part of an agreed Local SEO or digital marketing service. Client ownership and control
The business owner should retain ownership or co-ownership of its Business Profile. Erify Media may be granted manager or other appropriate access needed for the agreed work. Clients can choose whether to give a partner access and can remove access when the relationship ends.
Changes to your profile
We aim to keep clients informed about changes and edits made as part of our services. Changes to important business information should be based on accurate information supplied or approved by the client. No special relationship with Google
Working with Erify Media does not give a business a special relationship with Google, preferential treatment, guaranteed rankings, guaranteed verification, or a guaranteed position in Google Search or Maps. Google controls its products, eligibility requirements, ranking systems, policies, and enforcement.
Fees
If Erify Media charges a management fee, that fee is for Erify Media’s services and is separate from Google Business Profile itself. Google requires third-party providers to disclose management fees to customers before managing their profiles and on customer invoices.
Ending the relationship
A client may end our Google Business Profile management service by contacting contact@erifymedia.com. We will cooperate with the client to disassociate the Google Account used for management and remove our permissions in accordance with Google’s third-party requirements. Google’s policy specifies a 7-business-day timeframe after notice for restoring exclusive client control.
